In situ chemical oxidation is an environmental remediation technique that involves the injection of reactive chemical oxidants into groundwater and/or soil to reduce the concentrations of targeted chemical contaminants in place to acceptable levels.  This process is most often deployed at sites with high contaminant concentrations in the source area.  It can be used to remediate a variety of organic compounds, including some that are resistant to natural degradation.   In situ chemical oxidation can be combined with bioremediation approaches offered by Tersus Environmental to help clients reduce uncertainty, minimize risks, and achieve cost-effective results.
