Canadian Patent Issued for Enhanced Reduction Bioremediation Method

On August 18, 2026, the Canadian Intellectual Property Office granted Canadian Patent No. 3,109,644, “Enhanced Reduction Bioremediation Method Using In-Situ Alcoholysis,” to Tersus Environmental.
This marks Gary Birk’s seventh patent and David Alden’s sixth. Their work reflects the technical creativity and commitment behind Tersus’s efforts to develop more effective in situ solutions for contaminated soil and groundwater remediation.
