About Us

Tersus Environmental develops and supplies technologies for the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. Founded in 2011, we work primarily with environmental consultants, contractors, and site owners to support remediation projects from technology evaluation through field implementation and performance monitoring.

Our work includes enhanced reductive bioremediation, in situ chemical reduction, aerobic and anaerobic treatment of petroleum hydrocarbons, sorption and biodegradation, surfactant-enhanced remediation, and tools for evaluating remediation performance.

Rather than focus on a single technology, we evaluate site conditions, contaminants, treatment objectives, and implementation constraints to help identify an appropriate remediation approach. Tersus also works with technology developers, laboratories, universities, and field partners to provide specialized products and technical capabilities where they fit the project.
